Sunday has arrived in all it's glory. Hope your day is wonderful and you are living life to the fullest. As promised here is part deux of Carlsbad Caverns. The great room is as high as three football fields. It is an immense space and the pictures you will see do not do justice to the actual size of the stalagmites and stalactites growing in these caves. I do hope you enjoy this soothing Sunday.
Guess what this formation is called. Isn't it cute?
This one is called "The Whales Mouth" It is an immense piece weighing several tons. It would take probably 50 people to gather all the way around, and that would be arms out to the side.
That is it for today. Stay tuned next Sunday for some more of Carlsbad Caverns.

Wow, I haven't been to Carlsbad since I was a kid. I need to plan another trip soon, I live so close. Beautiful photos as usual, Etta.
Nice phallus...er....column-thingy.
Happy Sunday!
How cool. I love touring these Caverns. I'm not so happy when they turn the lights off to show how dark it is down there. Just saying.
Have a terrific day. Big magic hugs. :)
